Hello everyone.
I would like to update the listening ears for this event. Currently we have forwarded sponsorship to SMB and Globe Telecommunications, and hoping also to Unilever and endorse their newest brand "Clear Shampoo." If there would be favor, we could have good fundings for our event. Please, this sponsorship is out of our control, meaning they could turn down our proposal... John red has pointed out "faith..." in the "oronan." That was from me (cocoy) during the last meeting (jan. 22, gateway). To be honest with you all, it is only faith that we have rightnow. Upon obedience to what is needed to be done for our noble purpose, i have high hopes that the tides of tomorrow would be in favor for us. So please "Have Faith" and also Pray that our proposal would be granted(i am really serious about this! - pray without ceasing!).
We have noble dreams for our batch Grand Reunion. Through the series of bonding/fundraising activities, we are aiming to achieve three goals:
1. To experience a grand reunion that is well funded through the fundraising. To bless our batchmates, to be generous and give them more gifts than demand them money for contributions, to partially subsidise financially some people who might not come because of financial need (e.g. plane tickets for overseas batchmates)
2. To re-establish friendship and to bond more. we desire that all our batchmates would really feel very welcome to attend the Grand Reunion. To remove wrong mind sets of being O.P., group exclusivities, barkada gaps or whatever negative reasons. we are hoping that these mindsets be replaced of longing to be with friends, longing to reminisce "pinagsamahan" and to establish good lifetime relationships. To establish "barkada" as in parang nung highschool tayo!
3. To early locate long lost highschool friends and also those who are exposed pero hindi nagpapakita :) he he. That is why there is this Blog (thanks to Admin for initiating! - horayyy!). To establish as early as possible the batch database, Chikka Directory, Friendster, blog and Yahoo groups.
Please bear in mind that there are few people who initiated this noble task and sacrifice. This is for our batch because THIS IS OUR YEAR! They are thinking that whatever is noble, whatever is right, good, pleasing, excellent, praise worthy for the batch, they are WILLING to do...
i hope i have conveyed our points right. To all our batchmates, please commit whatever free time you have to contribute to this first endorsement event (write paperworks, financial study, marshalls, ushers, runners, stage design, bouncers, waiters, coordinators, ticket sellers, bloggers, mobile, food, donate, invite etc.). Your contributions are really appreciated. :)
in the coming days, i shall release the roster of group members we need to establish to make this "The Reggae Party" a succesful one. I am establishing to all batchmates to have FAITH and decide to participate (kahit during the day lang ng event). We are aiming for this batch to move mightily as ONE UNIFIED BODY. To those that has already faith i encourage you to have more. To those who do not have yet, i encourage you to have one. Pray for the event! Pray for the weather (for we are planning to have it in open field - beach)
I rally everyone with boldness and sincerity, PRAY TO GOD! For He holds the future we are aiming to have...
