General setting: We are very delayed for publicity of the event!
No Posters yet at the town, no selling of tickets yet!
Globe: We have not received simpacks for the event. There are approved 300 already but not yet delivered. We hope this week.
SMB: Our project has been approved but there are difficulties on the allocation of funds. This monday would be their last update/confirmation.
For our utilities, electricity and other services: They have been coordinated with the provincial government. We are still waiting for their response.
Get the general Idea? Many things to coordinate and receive immediate confirmation!
Batch meeting held twice, core group twice also. We are providing solution for the problem. Our batch will be unattached to their commitments. If they come, good! If not, good but we will strive more. We will now sell tickets printed by our own, 100 pesos + simpacks (limited supply - first come first serve) + 1 drink.
We have coordinated to the organizations involved for the project. These are Asrai (surfers), TBSC (Skateboarders), Blue falcons (hikers), Airsoft (combat sport) and BnBaler (Bikers). They will be the target market and also help sell tickets with the exchange deal of featuring their organization on the event through Audio Visual Presentation. There are many problems yet involved especially the confirmation of assistance of the provincial government for our utilities. We are hoping that SMB shall soon find allocation of funds for our event because they will be of a big help - really! They will shoulder almost 100 percent of the logistics.
We are deeply challenged by the situation. Tuesday is the target publicity and release of tickets. By that time, we have less than two weeks to promote the event. We have major considerations and adjustments for it. During the last batch meeting, Budek Sotero raised up one important consideration - the safety of the event - thanks pare!
We are hoping that SMB shall commit by Monday. If not, we will see what will happen. So far, everyone is holding up to pursuing this project. The Spirit is still there uniting the batch! Our batch will stand this wave of challenge only as we submit to God. So please pray on your individual quiet times for this! My apologies to have not prayed for our series of meetings but this is our prayer.
"Lord, Praises to your Holy Name God. You know all things even our concerns Lord. Please help us on our situation. We are in need of provision - finances, Sponsors and other logistics. I pray that the situation we are having shall bind the batch more, shall unite us to be one. I pray Lord that You will grant favor on the requests we have especially for the provincial assistance and SMB as sponsor. Lord this project has noble goals to assist our batch not only providing for Our Grand Reunion but also in setting up our own cooperative in the future. Lord, We as MCCHS Batch of 1998 acknowledge your Sovereignty - that You are God and Lord of all. We surrender and submit to you this project, even our individual lives. We give you all that we have, our faith, everything God for the Glory of your name. These we ask in the name of Christ. Amen"
